Yes WEEE Disposal Services

We provide a nationwide electrical waste collection and data destruction services.

Our sister company Yes Waste, based in Wakefield, recognised a growing need for WEEE compliant disposal on a nationwide basis. In March 2018, Yes WEEE, in conjunction with Yes Haulage, launched from a site in South Leeds.

Yes WEEE offers a free electrical waste collection service. We are able to do this by remarketing the equipment collected that can be fixed or stripping the parts from equipment that cannot be fixed and sending this for recycling. Operating with Yes Haulage, from the same operating centre, we can collect redundant WEEE nationally.

Our additional services at present are data destruction both on site and off site. In the future, we hope to be able to offer our clients PAT Testing and IT assistance and support.

What we do

Where commercially viable, Yes WEEE is a free electrical waste collection service for businesses. Where it is not charges may apply. We are always upfront about what we can and cannot collect for free.

We use vans and trucks to collect electrical waste. We can send 1 man or 2 man uniformed collection teams.

On arrival our teams, complete with ID badges, will take your redundant equipment. We may take it as it is or we may use crates, which can be locked and asset tracked. Before we leave our crews will issue a Waste Transfer Note or if necessary, a Hazardous Waste Consignment Note.

When the equipment arrives back at our site in Leeds any data bearing devices are removed and wiped (we can also destroy the data for a fee).

Equipment is then assessed. Following assessment, it is either sent for processing (recycling) or remarketed and reused.

Hazardous waste collected is generally stored on site, bulked up and then forwarded on for processing at Authorised Approved Treatment Facilities.

We operate in conjunction with our sister company, Yes Haulage, to collect electrical waste nationwide.

*where commercially viable. For smaller collections, or low value collections, charges will apply. Any questions please feel free to get in touch.
